 What’s Poppin’ is a specialty popcorn company with a bold personality and a passion for handcrafted, small-batch snacks. I was brought on to help elevate their brand presence across digital and print touchpoints—from internal pitch decks to customer-facing menus and marketing assets.

The Ask

I was asked to design campaign materials to boost awareness and engagement among Allrecipes employees. I took this a step further—developing a unified visual identity system to give the campaign clarity, energy, and emotional impact.

The Challenge

The brand needed to establish a professional yet playful visual voice that could adapt across presentations, printed menus, and social content. It also needed to be appropriate for a government run facility (The VA Hospital Garland). I was tasked with creating a design system that reflected their brand ethos and worked seamlessly across all channels.

The ROLE

From logo to color palette to custom illustrations, every design element was carefully chosen to energize teams and bring focus to the cause.

The Approach

I began by defining a visual language centered on bold color blocking, punchy typography, and custom iconography that reflected the brand’s energetic, fun-loving personality. From there, I extended the system into a pitch deck that emphasized storytelling, scalability, and visual punch. For the menus, I focused on clean, crave-inducing layouts that were easy to navigate while remaining brand-forward. Each piece was designed with flexibility in mind, enabling future updates without sacrificing style or structure.
